ART GALLERY OF HAMILTON | Engagement Shoot Sneek Peak

No better start to the year than with our incredibly lovely engagement shoot set in the modern surroundings of the Art Gallery of Hamilon’s Joey & Toby Tanenbaum Pavillon. The Sue Gallo Designs event team outdid themselves with  designing florals loaded with luscious blooms and greenery in a mix of sun beam, lemon & buttery yellows, and the result is a perfect mix of modern elegance. Simply Beautiful Decor complemented the modern beauty of the Pavillon and florals with their gray linens. Phyllis Macaluso provided the contemporary calligraphy details for our plate glass invites, menu’s and marble tiles. And that cake…a 4 tiered marble dream was hand crafted by Sharleen of Sweet Celebrations. Shaw Events was on hand to assist with styling and production. We simply can not wait to share more of this stylish celebration with you … so prepare to feast your eyes on this gorgeous little sneak peek of our AGH Engagement Shoot through the eyes of the lovely Karyn Louise Photography.

ART GALLERY OF HAMILTON | Amy & Frank’s Contemporary Wedding

If we had to choose but one phrase to describe Amy & Frank’s autumn wedding, it would be cool, clean and contemporary. With the AGH Design Annex as the ceremony setting, the couple celebrated their nuptials in front of their nearest and dearest on a gorgeous fall day. The draped interior of the Design Annex created an intimate backdrop for the simplistic lanterns, succulents and florals.

The Art Gallery of Hamilton’s splendid Tanebaumn Pavilion welcomed guests for dinner and dancing. A cool and clean contemporary atmosphere was achieved with the simple addition of grey linen table cloths, faux wax candles, hanging Chinese paper lanterns and simple florals consisting of kale, eucalyptus, succulents and hydrangea. We love how simply beautifully photographer Lori from Lori Studios Photography documented their fabulous and intimate celebration.

“Sue was amazing to work with from start to finish. The first time we met her, we felt so relaxed and at ease. She asked all the right questions to understand exactly what we were looking for and we were blown away by the final results. The ceremony space at the AGH Design Annex was simple, gorgeous and perfectly complemented the room. The bouquets and boutonnières were fresh and clean, which was exactly what we wanted. The highlight for us was the reception room at the AGH, which was perfection.
Sue, you are a true talent and we thank you for bringing our vision to life.
Amy & Frank”

BEATLEJUICE’S GARDEN | A contemporary garden wedding at the Art Gallery of Hamilton

We’re always so thrilled when SGD clients share their beautiful wedding photography with us. I could not think of a more wonderful way to begin 2016 than to share Amanda & Chris’ Art Gallery of Hamilton Wedding with you!

Amanda came to us, I must admit, with a request that we haven’t heard of before, but immediately fell in love with. She wanted a wedding that reflected an elegant version of Beatlejuice’s garden…Yup that crazy fun filled romp film from the 80s. Crazy inspiration came our way and together we came up with a fabulous plan.

Inspired by black strips, organic flowers and flowing vines, the SGD team created  a contemporary atmosphere that perfectly suited the clean interior space of the AGH Pavilion, bringing the theme to life with black honey comb chairs from Details Chair Couture, black striped linen and striped embellished napkins, votive holders and hanging lamp shades. The florals we created were organic feeling, with trailing vines, garden roses and ranunculus. With a stunning pop of colour in Amanda and her girls bouquets. Fresh rosemary sprigs finished each place setting and added a fabulous aromatic scent to the air.

Trailing vines created the perfect back drop to Amanda & Chris’s head table. While a vine drape way welcomed guests to the Pavilion. We are, as always, enchanted by every beautiful detail that helped bring Amanda’s vision to life. We are so thrilled that she chose to share this fun and unique vision with us. View More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chrisView More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chrisView More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chrisView More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chrisView More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chrisView More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chrisView More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chrisView More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chrisView More: http://torontoweddingstudios.pass.us/amanda-chris

I wanted to say thank you so much for understanding my wedding vision. Everything was perfect. I LOVED my bouquet. It was exactly what I wanted.

The table settings were incredible. Everyone loved the chairs too! They were the perfect addition to my vision.

I can’t thank you enough! It was so nice to not have to worry about how everything was going to turn out! Walking into the reception room was everything I wanted it to be. My bouquet and my bridesmaids’ bouquets were exactly what I wanted. You are so good at your job.

Thank you again!!!  Amanda xo

Hi Sue, I just want to thank you and your team for the fabulous job you did transforming the Hamilton Art Gallery for my daughter Amanda and her husband Chris’ wedding. You achieved her “Beetlejuice in the Forest” theme with elegance and creativity. Even though we had our heart set on an outdoor wedding, the indoor gallery was also set up s0 beautifully with the vines and flowers that we didn’t miss being outdoors. I can’t describe the beauty you created with the appropriate words. I will make sure that we send you the photographer’s pictures so that we can both remember the drama and beauty you created. I was and am still in awe of your team’s skill. Absolutely wonderful!!!!!! Pat xo
