Tip #2  Setting the scene with fabulous centerpieces

Creating a fabulous atmosphere for your wedding is a must. There are so many elements that you can incorporate to create an unforgettable evening for your guests, and lasting memories for yourselves.

045A great place to start is with your centerpieces. We like to refer them as table scapes. They help tell the story of the day, they set the mood, they are a reflection of your own impeccable tastes.

As your guests will be admiring these pieces for most of the evening, they ultimately become the center of attention, besides the bride and groom that is! If you want your centerpieces to stand out, choose not one design, but two or three different styles that are alternated throughout your reception venue.

Creating varying heights within the room as we did with Meagan & Rob’s wedding , it creates more interest throughout the room. It warms the room and allows for your guests to view flowers from all angles while dining and mingling about.

Choose a table scape that include lots of candles for a romantic glow and added ambiance. Mix and match various themed glassware or vessels for a more cohesive feel. Don’t stray to far from a design style or flower combinations though, you don’t want things to look like you’ve just thrown them together.

Not sure where to start, why not think about your color scheme. Coordinate the tables with your choice of flower colors. Or if you are planning a vintage inspired wedding, consider combining different elements on each of the tables, such as books, groupings of vintage vases and log slices with buckets of fresh trailing ivy plants. The options are endless. Remember we are always just a phone call  away to lend a helping hand with the planning process.

Happy planning!
