wedluxe feature | A modern romance

The Underwing restuaruant in Cambridge, Ontario is sleek, intimate with a bold and luxurious modern aesthetic. This unqiue space within the historical industrial building, was the perfect backdrop to our modern “old money” inspired shoot. The Underwing in it’s uniqueness was the perfect canvase and required little to bring our timelessly moody, luxuriously warm and intimate wedding to life. Taking inspiration from the bold hues, soft textiles and industrial elements, we transformed the space in to a sultry, avant-garde celebration with some Old Money - Speek Easy vibes.

The ceremony, set intimately amoung the dining tables, featured stunning and richly hued florals, romantic candle light elevated on lucite plinths with towering candles. While vibrant florals by Sue Gallo Designs, and refined table top details from Special Event Rentals set the mood throughout the remaining dinning spaces. Perfect cocktails and a towering cake created by Sweet Celebrations, added the perfect touches for an unforgettable reception space.

If you are looking for wedding inspiration that is modern elegance with chic bold sophistication, with a touch of industrial moodiness, then THE UNDERWING - A MODERN ROMANCE is the inspiration you have been looking for. These stunning photos by Lisa Marie Photography, and social media content by Oh Happy Day, perfectly captures this incredible editorial shoot that Sue Gallo Designs and Every Little Thing brought to life.
