Aaron & Natasha's Harding Waterfront Estate Wedding | A New England Coastal INSPIRED Love Story by Sue Gallo Designs

There are some weddings that stay with you long after the flowers have faded. Aaron and Natasha's celebration at Harding Waterfront Estate is one of those weddings.

From our very first conversations, it was clear they weren't chasing trends. They wanted a wedding that felt timeless, romantic, and inviting. A celebration where every guest would feel welcomed, every detail had intention, and the beauty of the waterfront could simply shine. That vision became the foundation for everything we designed.

Inspired by the effortless elegance of the New England coastline, Sue Gallo Designs created a celebration layered with crisp whites, soft coastal blues, weathered whitewashed birch, and luxurious summer florals. The palette was fresh without feeling predictable, refined without ever feeling formal, and perfectly suited to one of Southern Ontario's most beautiful waterfront venues.

One of my favourite parts of designing weddings is discovering the details that quietly anchor an entire celebration. They're often the elements guests don't immediately notice individually, but somehow they remember exactly how the room made them feel.

That was the goal with Aaron and Natasha's wedding. Every floral installation, every candle, every carefully selected vessel, linen, and décor piece was intentionally chosen by Sue Gallo Designs to work together as one cohesive experience. Rather than competing for attention, each design element complemented the next, allowing the entire celebration to unfold naturally.

The florals embraced the romance of summer with layers of premium white blooms accented by soft blue florals that echoed the water just beyond the marquee. Whitewashed birch introduced warmth and texture, grounding the design with a subtle nod to New England's coastal charm. It felt relaxed, elegant, and completely at home against the historic beauty of Harding Waterfront Estate.

Inside the marquee, the design truly came to life. Tables were dressed with luxurious linens from Special Event Rentals, abundant floral arrangements, candlelight, and beautifully curated details that invited guests to settle in and enjoy the evening together. The space felt intimate despite its scale, creating the kind of atmosphere where conversations linger, laughter fills the room, and every guest feels part of something special.

At Sue Gallo Designs, we often say that flowers are only one chapter of the story.

The stationery, signage, rentals, tabletop styling, and decorative details all played an equally important role in creating the experience Aaron and Natasha envisioned. Every decision was intentional. Every detail was considered. Together, they created a celebration that felt effortless—although anyone who works in weddings knows that effortless is usually the result of months of thoughtful planning.

One of the greatest compliments we can receive is when guests comment not only on how beautiful a wedding looked, but on how it made them feel. Aaron and Natasha's wedding felt warm. It felt romantic. It felt welcoming. It felt like them. As designers, that's always the goal.

Harding Waterfront Estate was the perfect setting for this vision. With its historic architecture, mature trees, sweeping lake views, and beautiful marquee, the venue provided an incredible backdrop while allowing the floral and event design to enhance. Not overwhelm. It’s own natural beauty.

Surrounded by the people they love most, Aaron and Natasha celebrated the beginning of a new chapter exactly as they had imagined: filled with joy, thoughtful details, timeless design, and countless unforgettable moments.

Every one of those moments was beautifully documented by Mango Studios, whose imagery captured not only the beauty of the florals and décor, but the emotion that filled every part of the day. Their photographs perfectly reflect what happens when intentional design meets genuine celebration.

Looking back, Aaron and Natasha's wedding reminds me why I love what I do.

Beautiful flowers are important, but they are only part of the story. Creating an experience, one that feels personal, effortless, and unforgettable, is what truly inspires me. It's what we strive to achieve with every wedding at Sue Gallo Designs, and it's exactly what made Aaron and Natasha's Harding Waterfront Estate celebration one we'll continue to look back on for years to come.
