MAY’S RESIDENCY FEATURING LQ EVENTS -
For decades, a “timeless” wedding palette always referred back to classic white, green and black. But “timeless’ isn’t always reflective of a singular colour palette. It is about bringing to life an aesthetic that is effortless, stylish, sophisticated and ever enduring. We are now embracing many unique and truly personal palettes, including more warm, grounding neutral tones that draw inspiration from nature. This fresh approach to design, creates a new version of a timeless wedding.
Our May RESIDENCY at SPECIAL EVENT RENTALS, Lindsay of LQ EVENTS brought a beautiful interpretation of the “timeless” wedding to life. Showcasing a refined yet organic approach that felt warm, inviting and distinctly timeless. Our lush and textural faux florals anchored Lindsay’s vision. While images from KURTZ ORPHIA PHOTOGRAPHY captured how enduring this beautiful aesthetic can be.
Lindsay of LQ EVENTS, made a statement through a neutral cafe au latte toned linen. brilliant design choice. Rather than defaulting to the crisp white linens often associated with traditional elegance, Lindsay incorporated textiles with subtle hue and slight texture. While our lush faux florals added texture and visual interest to the tablescape. Allowing the mocha toned plate ware and patterned glassware to pop on the dinning table. Clear lucite chairs added a subtle element. Their transparency allowed the entire dining table to become the showcase within the space.
The stationery designed in house at Sue Gallo Designs, reflected the overall aesthetic, offering a balance of simplicity and uniqueness. Each menu, elegantly placed on the plates, was designed to complement the organic shapes and earthy tones of the décor, adding a subtle sophistication. The place cards, with white wooden place card holder, added texture and a soft touch of luxury to the tablescape, blending seamlessly with the neutral palette while making a lasting impression the design.
A New Take on Timeless
Lindsay of LQ EVENTS proved that a timeless wedding, can embrace unique palettes. Crafting a space and wedding aesthetic that both feels relevant, elevated and deeply personal. We here at Sue Gallo Designs are always drawn and aim to create events that will stand the test of time, while still feeling fresh and unique to each of our couples. Our collaboration with LQ EVENTS and SPECIAL EVENT RENTALS is a testament to the power of intentional design. Proving that timeless doesn’t always mean traditional - it means UNFORGETTABLE.!
