June may official be LGBT Pride Month, but we prefer to celebrate all year long. In this spirit, we offer you an intimate Distillery Wedding. Dillion’s Small Batch Distillery was the perfect backdrop for Megan & Keela’s industrial dream wedding. We are so smitten to be featured on the wedding blog Green Wedding Shoes and are excited that we finally get to share this fabulous creative with their followers and you of course!
We paired Megan’s beautiful gown from Best For Bridal with some up cycled leather shoes and one rockin’ leather jacket from the Salvation Army. Kalee from Frilly Bits created the custom hair jewellery that adorned both Megan and Keela.
We of course created the gorgeous tropical toned florals that certainly help set the mood for the day. I am truly in love with the bouquet we created for Megan’s look. The vibrant tones were a perfect match for Megan’s rock inspired attire. Their intimate spring nuptials were set in the Distilleries tasting room. Warehouse 84 provided the industrial tub chairs that suited the mood just perfectly.
The girls celebrated by sampling some fabulous of Dillion’s Gin inspired cocktails. Read More
There is such grace in this gorgeous industrial warehouse creative designed by Shaw Events, Sue Gallo Designs & Warehouse 84. The historic Spice Factory in the heart of Hamilton’s budding arts district was the perfect setting for this romantic inspired creative. Every perfectly thought out detail created a vision of timeless romance. The over all effect is feminine and elegant. This creative is filled to the brim with inspiring images. A beautiful bride with a tousled french twist and the softest make up by Sarah Smith. Her gown by Best For Bridal compliments the dreamy details of our setting and one gorgeous detail that made all our heart all skip a beat. The brownstone’s interior reclaimed brick wall brought to life the perfect shades of creams, palest of peaches and softest blushes in the romantic florals created by Sue Gallo Designs. The luscious blossoms complimented the relaxed lounge setting and the prettiness of the table scape set upon a classic reclaimed barn board harvest table with brass candle sticks from Warehouse 84, the perfect combination of vintage china & glassware from Plate Occasions, linen from Simply Beautiful Decor and stationary from The Paper Damsels. The chic and unfussy details of the beautiful wedding cakes, macaroons and flower encased lolly pops by Sweet Celebrations continued the unabashed romance of the creative. We are completely smitten with how gorgeously Elizabeth in Love Photography captured the sentiment of this creative that we weren’t surprised to discover that White Magazine also wanted to share this fabulous creative. This week here at SGD we’ve been doing a little summer cleaning as we prepare for a very busy August and September. But today we are filled to the brim with oodles of loveliness as we share one of our beautiful collaboration with photographer Ally Kristensen. We can’t get over the gorgeousness of our 2 very distinctly different floral crowns adorned by the very sweet Malissa Otting. Ally effortlessly captured a romantic spirit with Malissa adorning almost nothing but our luscious ruby red peony floral crown. While our sage ranunculus crown and Malissa’s upscaled vintage wedding gown elude to a more innocent time. Both utterly gorgeous!
I have always wanted to attend a wedding in an old Scottish Castle. With a little thanks to Sue Gallo Designs couple Cyndie and Mark, my wish kinda came true…and I didn’t even have to leave home.
Mark had attended Ridley College in St. Catherine’s as a lad, and both were over the moon excited about exchanging vows in the Schools Private Chapel. They both gushed about how beautiful the chapel was on the very first day I met with them. But they never told me it felt like an old Scottish Castle Chapel. I was in love with the space as soon as I entered it’s arched doorway. The hallowed hall was beautiful, warm and filled with so much tradition. I can truly see why this sweet couple wanted to start their new life together in this magical and meaningful space.
Here is a sneak peek into their beautiful wedding day so elegantly captured by Heidi Ram of Ribbons & Twine Photography. Read More
Sweet as can be Sue Gallo Designs couple Joan and David were wed last summer in the Mill’s outdoor chapel and dined in the Falls View Dining room. With late summer dahlia, roses, eucalyptus and trailing jasmine vines in pops of oranges, pinks and corals the florals were simple and yet sweet. I truly loved the simplicity of her gorgeous bouquet and the sweet notes this crafty couple wrote on each of the up cycled bottles. We are utterly smitten with how beautifully Eyekahfoto captured their wedding.
